Sisters, Healing & Evolving, Inc

African American adults are 20% more likely to experience serious mental health problems due to unmet needs and barriers to treatment. (U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office of Minority Health, 2023).

African American adults, ages 18-25, also experience higher rates of mental health problems and lower rates of mental health service utilization compared to other groups of people (SAMHSA, 2023).

Our Mission

Our mission is to de-stigmatize mental health in the Black community through the process of self-exploration, psycho-education, and providing accessible mental health care.
