The organization gives back to various women’s shelters in the Atlanta area by donating hygiene care packages, and conducting “Woman to Woman” support groups to promote emotional healing. We are currently working to provide free mental health therapy sessions to Black women struggling with trauma, anxiety, and depression.
Each year SHE hosts a women’s conference to include bringing like-minded women together for panel discussions, exchange of thoughts on previous selected topics (i.e mental health in urban communities, relationships, women in the workforce, etc.).
The organization hosts a weekend retreat for women with activities anchored towards self-reflection, self-esteem, and character building. Activities include cognitive/ mind stimulating games, discussion questions, journaling, and mindfulness exercises. Participating women are given the opportunity to enjoy a relaxing getaway while also using gaining skills to grow individually, and sisterly.
